FPUSA NW REGIONAL TRIPLES

    On May 16, 2010 the Club Francais de Sacramento hosted the

FPUSA NW Regional Petanque Tournament at the Mather Petanque

Courts.  The event included 17 teams  (51 Players) from several NW

California Clubs.  Three qualifying games were played during the

morning.  At noon, a delicious lunch of roasted chicken, salad, cheese,

bread and fruit was served by our Social director Donna Klaiber and

ably assisted by Joyce Dugas, Denyse Haney and Colette Evans.  After

lunch a one game elimination was played for both the concours and

the consolant. After awarding the prize money  to the winning teams

in each category, everyone gathered for a final aperitif before heading

home.  Congratulations to all.
